On April, 5  during the second focus group with participation of the third country nationals and representatives from state institutions there were continued discussions about themes like health care, access to education, Latvian language training, employment and possibilities to engage in cultural and sport activities.

In the discussions participated citizens from Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Pakistani currently living and studying in Latvia as well as representatives from the State Employment Agency, Ministry of Welfare, Ministry of Education and Science, the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, the Association „Shelter “Safe House"".

During discussions the third country nationals received answers to questions raised in the previous discussion especially that relates to education acquisition and access for children of the third country nationals, employment possibilities and Latvian language training.

At the end of discussions the third country nationals expressed satisfaction about opportunity to get so specific information directly from responsible institutions since often when attending official institutions the specialists have no time to go into details on issues of each third country national.
